About Clara

Live, Laugh, Leash

"If we're listening, each dog teaches us something wonderful, new, and unique about ourselves."

Clara aspires to improve the lives of dogs by educating people how to understand and guide their dogs. She uses a blend of training strategies including: meaningful rewards, redirection, prevention, exposure, safe socialization, rules, guidelines, and play. These strategies create trust, mutual-respect, and enable your dog to flourish in their own unique way.

Clara has had the privalege to learn from multiple dedicated and talented dog enthusiasts who patiently endure her capacity to discuss dogs non-stop.

She is curious, patient, passionate, and approachable. Clara loves

competition obedience, hunt and field work, and sheep herding.

Clara lives to see a dog exuberantly smiling.

In her spare time, Clara loves a good joke and a bad joke. She can't repeat an idiom properly to save her life. She has 3 children, a budding farm,  and a Golden named "Flint" and a Collie "Tweed" that keep her in line.
